Tyler Linderbaum at US-AA practice video

Those are a few of the top OL recruits in the country and he basically went 2 for 4 against them, or 3 for 4 if you count the ridiculous hold on the first one. Good stuff.

Can never have too many Mitch King types on the DL!
Meh, Mitch was great player but definitely had some moments of the "cheap" that Wasn't Drunk mentioned. One being the elbow/forearm he dropped on the OSU linemen in a game. Not sure if you can find that video on youtube anymore.

Nevermind, here it is. Quality isn't as good as it once was, still pretty easy to see what happened.

So, you’d rather not have more Mitch Kings?

I will take a Mitch King anyway. The OSU player was probably mouthing off all game and got what he deserved..

I definitely like what I saw with going after that jackwagon OL. If the guy wants to get tuff, Tyler should come right back at his head! Pop him in the face. That's what he did. Very nice. Hope he brings and maintains that at Iowa. Need more of that to return to our rightful post as Bullies of the B1G!

I don't recall saying that at all. Pretty sure I just pointed out that King definitely had "cheap" moments that another poster said they didn't want.
I didn’t say you did. Hence, the question mark. You answered the question. The one that I posed using a question mark.

jesus..some major holding goin' on there... especially that Murray kid
That was all 73 could do to stop the DL - otherwise he got beat. Tyler has a switch, he throws it on when on the field. Love that he punched 73 up under his facemask and took one with his helmet off. 73 is a 6'3 300lbs 4* going to UCLA - he needs to work on blocking technique and less on holding technique.

Here is Murray's hudl - likes to hold or lay on guys...

Yes Tyler is around 270 for wrestling, remember he pinned Tristan Wirfs last season..

He could probably play on either side of the line and be effective, but Iowa coaches have pretty good track record of figuring out where linemen-types project. If he can get just a bit bigger and keep that first-step quickness. he has what it takes to be a disruptive DT with that competitiveness. Redshirt year and he's ready to do some damage.

Every one of those AA OLineman do some serious and obvious holding! Not just against TL either.
