I love living along the river, but these few days are admittedly kinda gross.

Was in South Dakota (Webster area) a couple years ago during the hatch.
Fishing was terrible. The mayflies were so terrible everyone was wearing their covid masks in the boat to keep them out of your face.

Great...school ends this week, and the hatch will make it's way northward just in time to ruin anything involving the river. Looks like I'll be in fix 'em up mode for a bit.

Don't leave your house/outdoor lights on overnight, don't park under a street light, fill your vehicles' tanks during the day, etc...

On the plus sign, large hatches are a sign the water is clean and healthy.
