Most of it is KCRG which is biased as well. Some of it is reading articles on Hawkeye beacon, most of that is biased as well. Some of it is conversation with others in my life which includes family, friends and coworkers. Plus a bunch of other tidbits here and there. As for national news you are accusing me of watching. The only time I watch that are days like today or during state of the union speeches. I couldn’t care less about most of the crap they talk about. None of it is going to change anything, most of it is fear monger type crap which is why so many of you are on here right now shitting your pants.

Ukraine funding has mostly been just a shell game - giving Ukraine our weapons, then getting Congress to fund our military to replace the weapons. It's just bowing down to the MIC, and hiding the money in the US budget. Well that, except for actual dollars funding Ukrainian pension plans and such.
I find it interesting you say have not heard anything about Ukraine in months and then say you do not watch national news programs, which you know, discuss news affecting our nation, and not just news concerning the greater metropolitan region of Cedar Rapids.
I’m inclined to take “facts” from someone whose butt is in the line of fire vs those who are thousands of miles away, but most of all it’s helpful to remember we’re all entitled to our opinions.
Trump who has never condemned Putin's illegal invasion, actually justified the invasion by saying Putin wanted a buffer zone between Russia and the NATO countries. How stupid can you get. Putin's takeover of Ukraine would place Russia directly bordering over 800 miles of NATO countries - Poland and Finland.
I don’t know if you know this but all local news channels around here also share national news. You also seemed to miss the part mentioning other ways of getting news.

Who knows what Trump thinks or what he will think 15 seconds from now? I only hope that when wheel of fortune stops spinning it isn't on bankrupt for Ukraine.

I am not panicked. I just find it remarkable that for having such a ravenous appetite for different news sources, you have no idea what is going in Ukraine.

I will continue to support the Ukrainian people who want to be free.
I hope the 80 year old post WWII framework (necessary and justified in 1945) in Europe is changed to reflect the fact that we cannot send endless amounts of defense dollars and personnel to defend countries we’ve made prosperous while domestically in our own country some of our citizens get inferior health care.
Hoping that evolves in the next four years.
The problem is that wars keep getting started in Europe (which seems utterly bonkers to me) which in turn threatens our national interests. I also recognize we have a national interest in having a healthy and cared for population. There is no perfect solution.

And Ike was right. The presence of war represents a failure of the human condition, but we must never forget that freedom is not free and that if we value it it’s worth fighting for if all other means to preserve it have been exhausted.

You are an asshole. I'm very pro Ukraine and think this war is NATO fighting to the last Ukrainian to bleed Russia to death. Maybe deserving, but not at the cost of Ukrainian blood. They should have fought this hard to remove corruption otherwise they'd be in EU and this wouldn't be happening.

I think it’s pretty cut and dried. You are either Pro-Ukraine or Pro-Russian, that’s how wars work. We were told by the now-current president that he would end the war in one day. It likely isn’t ending today. My response, which not directed at you, was in regard to where people get their news. It can be podcasts, tv networks, newspapers. You couldn’t pay me to watch Fox or Tucker for more than 10 minutes. I try to see how different outlets cover stories, so guilty of news-surfing, which many on here would never consider. If you feel Fox and Tucker and Charlie play it down the middle, looking at both sides, so be it, that has not been my experience.

Well, at least Zalensky's old lady is still buying nice cars and mansions everywhere on our taxpayer money. That's the important thing, that and funding the Ukraine government pension plans.
