I was in st louis over the weekend and talked with a friend of Teasdale. Trust me, it was no surprise to TnT when he decommitted. They've known for a few weeks, at least. He kept mentioning Mark Hall and Vincenzo Joseph and how successful they were as freshmen. I was bummed, to say the least.

You know, I have been checking in here three times a day for several years now. I don't post much, but I have to checkout for a while. It's hard to be a hopeful fan when there is no salary cap. It's like the Yankees.
I agree if Silva is a 133 you go for him. He is top 10. Also Madrigal #26 and Woods #27 are guys to look at with Teske #36. Thomsen has not seemed interested. I like Teske but want to see vs some big competition, he was losing to the West kid this year before getting a fall in the third.
There is a salary cap. A hard cap of 9.9, at least a cap on legitimate athletic scholarships. Idk what else is going on.
As a Gopher fan, I will never cheer another Hawkeye loss at nationals. I have a new team to hate.

Yes we need to go for silva and sasso hard as both will be studs, I really like how madrigal wrestles and think he'll do very well in college. Pretty sure woods wanted to go to Stanford. Also I like how aggressive teske is and thought he looked like a monster against a very good ford-Melton but I haven't seen him wrestle much besides that

Never cared about Teasdale anyways. Not sour grapes, just saying. We could throw rock at a group of recruits and find a kid to beat him. If Spencer leaves it's a problem.

that's almost as good as #1,#2, and #5 that PSU got in 2016 class.
I wonder if FLO will elevate PSU to #1 recruiting class, or will Willie downgrade them because they have too many stars, and not everyone will be able to start for 4 years. Such a tough row to hoe! Cael will have a tough job!

If you ever seen Teasdale post before he seems to spend a lot of time with current PSU wrestlers as it is (red flag #1) the way PSU won this past weekend must've been the tipping point. I will say this though, so many studs going to 1 place and yet there's only so many spots. I expect guys to back out (I can think of 1 in particular) and others to transfer in the future

Exactly. At what point is Carl basically just recruiting over guys? This isn't like other sports where guys can leave early. Just really hard to understand what some of these guys are thinking. I'm sure they wont think its all "fun" when they are riding the pine
