This fall has been unusually cold and what's really unusual is that it's been persistently below normal here at Tradition Manor. Yeah, we can get an early cold snap but it's usually warm until well into December.

Of course, this is the year I went all-in on Fall gardening. It's been colder than normal for weeks and the weather forecast doesn't see it getting any better any time soon. I finally gave up on the basil today and pulled it to make way for some broccoli. In most years November is plenty warm for basil, but not this year. It's all stunted and sad, so.... goodbye. The tomatoes and the green beans are fine so far and I got great production out of the cukes so I can't blame that for declining in the cold, but the basil was a bust.

Thanks Global Warming?

Global warming is actually over all climate change that can be measure by the total earth average temperature growing every year. I know you’re too dumb to understand that though.

Meanwhile, we've got high 60s and 70s out here in the Denver area.

Been shorts and tees weather since before Thanksgiving and into late this week.

Our high barely got out of the 40s today. We were forecasted to have a colder and wetter winter this year and it has been accurate so far.

🤷‍♂️ I'm still waiting for the acid rains they told me when I was a kid to start. Oh, that Pam was destroying the ozone layer, and the earth would be scorched in the 90's. Oh and my favorite was Al Gore telling us that we would be swimming with polar bears in the 2000's.

We started the year off above average, but it evened out by April and we’ve been drier this year. There was a spell where some of the lawn timbers that spend all day in the sun got so dry they started to warp.

It is currently 48 in Tampa. It seems colder than it was last week in the QC suburbs when it was 30

Got to the mid 30’s at my house here on the Southside of Jacksonville.
The rarely used flannel Jammies were used and a real blanket put on the bed. And the heat ran several times overnight. But it’s a beautiful day and I slept great just like Mama Bears everywhere. 🙂

It was 32° and frosty here this morning. I wish we could have this weather instead of the forecasted rain on Christmas day.

Iowa is looking at highs in the upper 40s up to the mid 50s through next Tuesday. It's an Indian Christmas summer heat wave up here.

How incredibly uninformed and unaware you are. Maybe stick to subjects you're an expert in like bellybutton lint sculpturing and pubic hair knitting.

I don’t mind the chilly temperatures. I do mind the fact that they are a symptom of a strong El Niño that is likely to bring strong tornadoes to Florida over the next few months..

Oh, my Meteorology degree and working in the field doesn't qualify me? Who would've thought?

Yet you can't explain why global concerns over acid rain and ozone depletion have lessened over the last few decades? Really? Did they not cover those topics in meteorology university, perhaps you missed those days, or have you simply forgotten the lesson?

I didn't even go to meteorology college and I know the answers without even looking it up.

Is the answer, because it was all bullshit?

All I want for Christmas is summer. In N Central Fl I should be able to sit on my back porch every afternoon and enjoy a cigar. When it gets to the lower 60s and below, that ain't happening, which makes me unhappy.
