I wonder if it’s even possible for Spencer to be 100% physically healthy wrestling wise? He’s been fighting injuries for at least 6 years now.

Flo needs a the multi mat view for semis like ESPN uses for NCAAs.
He may not ever be completely physically healthy, but when he is 80-90% healthy and can wrestle in practice to build his stamina to wrestle a 6 minute match, he is completely dominant and the best in the world - and that is good enough.

Defaulted out of NCAA's, now defaults out of US Open before semi against rival? I hope the new contract didn't make him feel obligated to compete. He entered, and now dad's interview says he wasn't 100% before entering. Either enter or don't. But that's not a good answer. I get his past injury history, that's even a more reason it's not a good look. Fix him, or let him retire. Sorry. My opinion.

Beau Bartlett defeats Nick Lee 10-10 on criteria. Lee was sloppy but WOW.
He felt obligated because entering this event is the only way to get in the world team.
He wrestled and after session 1 something wasn't right. If the knee isn't able to go, don't push it. Shut it down and keep working towards next year.
Don't lose next year too just because some idiot keyboard warrior thinks it's a bad look.
Thought that it could be a close match, but wasn't expecting Bartlett to win.

You’re not a physical therapist, you’re not a doctor, you know nothing about his medical issues. Now go tell everyone how you almost made state your senior year at the bar this weekend.

Why is it so hard for some people to understand Spencer’s situation? He is trying to make the world team and Olympics. He doesn’t have a ton of options. Hes hurt and can’t train properly. He’s doing everything in his power to achieve his dream. HIS dream. He’s not a coward or quitter. He’s not hurting anyone else. I can’t understand any response other than compassion for his situation.
I believe Nick Lee actually won that match 10-10.
