“If a doctor writes a Letter of Medical Necessity stating that exercise is medically necessary to treat a physical or mental condition, you may be able to use FSA funds. For example, if a doctor recommends water-based exercise to treat a medical condition, you may be able to use FSA funds to pay for a membership at a gym that offers that type of exercise.“
