VP Harris to sit down with Bret Baier on 10/16, her first with FOX News

Who knows.
I think this is where we’re at. I’ve got the “typicals” around me, but also people who are just apathetic or exhausted about it all.

Anecdotal: Memphis and Memphis “online” communities are on a big get out and vote and super anti Blackburn. Conversely, I don’t talk to many in face to face shit about politics, cause why would I. But the only signs in yards are for Trump, so who knows where west TN lands, but I can guess.

People should be able to say “hey this is what’s going on around me hemisphere” on unit and not be met with “sure sure” is all. End rant?

@Scruddy @NorthernHawkeye @HIWILLE @Hans81 where do you guus rank trans people on the issues facing America? It's every attack ad I see from Trump on Kamala. I gotta say, for me it's about issue 1,245th in importance.

I know America has enemies within, the economy in shambles, cities are lawless, crime is rampant, immigrants are eating pets, the 2020 election was stolen, & Donald is the savior. Could you tell me anything Trump has said in the last few weeks that's a coherent?
I personally don’t rank transgender issues very highly in my main issues that influence my vote. However, I can see why the R’s have ads on this as trans in female sports is a hot-button issue for some.

Brett trying to save face
The interview was much too short to really get many topics, particularly considering Kamala rambled on several of her responses.

She came and did the interview and did quite well. If Bret thinks he got iced, that is funny. Trump won’t even do an interview with Bret.
C’mon - Trump has done several interviews on FOX…including a town hall this morning and with Hannity and Gutfeld in the past. Who cares if it’s with Bret B (or any other specific person) as long as he gets interviewed.

There is no decision.

The mental gymnastics reasonably intelligent people endure to convince themselves Trump is the lesser of two evils is as perverse as it is pathetic.

They will one day regret their vote should Trump win the election.

Are you going to make it 20 days? Deep breath. Exhale.
That poster didn’t seem too emotional or upset, rather just stating some facts. Why would he (or she) need to take deep breath, exhale?

She went to Fox. He refuses to debate on Fox. That alone answers your question. She effectively outmaneuvered a host that was trying to pin her down, and effectively flipped the tables making Bret try to defend Trump. Pretty impressive.
"That alone answers your question"

Ummmm, but I didn't ask a question. Not sure what you're answering.

If Trump doesn't think he needs fox to make his case, I think that's just his campaign strategy. I think the voter reach he's been getting on some of the podcast platforms has been huge with audiences that didn't know him, or had the opportunity to see him unscripted

I don't see any relevance to one candidate choosing to do a platform and another one not

I read the bloomberg thread on hbot a bit ago. In that thread Trump answering questions differently than the host wanted him to was called mental illness. In this thread some are calling harris dodging being a savvy politician. Not too consistent.

i looked for and found the interview (about 30 mins long if that’s the right one) on fox’s youtube. went in with expectation (after reading some posts here) that kh failed miserably but i ended up thinking she held up well in the face of somewhat hostile but controlled probing. she’s no intellectual giant nor is she master of quick retorts but she’s also clearly street and people smart. she didn’t ace the exam but passed with a B+
30 mins is way too short though, maybe they cut it short as soon as she made the points she wanted to make.

She answered about the topics asked. Trump weaves to a completely different subject.

I just had it on in the background so I could be wrong. The first question I heard was how many illegals have crossed the boarder and are in the country today. What number did she say, I never heard a number. Surely she knows given her position of power. Let's start with that first question and we will go from there if she answered the questions. What is the number that she provided?

isn't it a crazy coincidence that the 3 people who have run against Donald Trump are ALL the "worst ever"

so weird...it's almost like trump supporters just say that about any and every trump opponent
This is pure projection from the democrats. Every republican who has run in recent memory is painted as evil. Mitt Romney of all people was going to Put y'all back in chains.

The post you were responding to said "the worst" and it was accurate. Joe Biden did the campaign from his basement with Jill's hand in his back, then called a lid early every day. Same way he (or someone) ran the country every day.

Kamala didn't make it very far in the primaries due to obvious deficiencies with her qualifications but got veep anyway. Then the party maneuvered her into the top of the ticket without competition.

I don't think those people are evil, just very unqualified.

She did? One of the first question was…how many illegal immigrants entered the country in the last 3.5 years? Bret finally had to tell her what that answer was. 😳

At least she talked about immigration. She gave a rational answer. I’m still waiting to hear what Trump thinks about Google breaking up . . . He talked about the justice department having court cases on states taking people off of registries after cut off dates. Go look at the Bloomberg interview, I think he only legitimately answered 1-2 questions.

"Held the office"

we all understand that the VP is a completely different position and office than the president, right?

Not saying she has nothing to do with the current administration, but she literally has not ever "held the office"
Butt hurt

Bret compared her being late, abrupt ending, long responses and sense of trying to capture a viral clip to icing a kicker. It wasn't supposed to be so short and he said he had many more questions.

Brett asked how many. I don't recall hearing a number.

The interview was a disaster for Kamala. There are two reasons she did the interview:

1. She is trending down in the polls.

2. Her answer last week on the View still haunts her when she stated she wouldn't do anything differently than what the Biden/Harris did in their 4 years in office. Now she is spinning that she won't follow the Biden/Harris playbook.

Her best line in the interview is "it's time to turn the page".

Why didn't he ask the hard hitting questions about hurricane control or where the kids are being held prisoner?

She has agreed to debates on Fox. He backed out. He didn’t want Bret to be a moderator.
Why did she decline the September 4th debate? You said he wouldn't debate her and I proved you wrong. He didn't back out of the Fox debate, he simply declined the late October timeframe. You can't back out of something you never agreed to do. There is no reason to debate in late October, its too far along in the election cycle. Voting would have already started, so it's a waste of time. She should've accepted a month and a half ago. End of story.

It’s as much “news” as CNN and MSNBC. So, when FOX recently had stories on the hurricanes…that wasn’t news? Also, FOX Business station certainly has “news” about business.
Fox Business has spent >50% of the last few months on politically motivated opinions and coverage...barely business related.
You're naive to think differently.
Kudlow is EASILY the worst violator. His frequent guest Steve Forbes is a Trump shill.

Rupert Murdoch and his networks only have personal profits as their motivation.

Wasn’t there 3 agreed to debates after the first one where he bombed he backed out of the other two.
