Mitchell, I'm pretty sure, was a receiver originally who was converted to RB last season.

DMX was dinged up during camp. I think he is not quite 100% yet. He will be a factor for the Hawkeyes this fall.

Yes, Mitchell is just a JR. He and Wadley will both be SRs in '17.

Should be a REALLY nice level of competition among the RBs in '17. A lot of contrast and A LOT of talent.

More impressively ... we'll only be losing Croston on the OL! We'll be having a group of happy and active RBs for years (or so it appears)!

There were a few big runs that one could give big credit to the fullback, let's not downplay his importance.

Totally agree that you can't forget the fullback as being an integral blocker in our offense. I wish we would use them as an offensive weapon once in a while. I long for the days of Jeremy Allen. You could certainly put one of the RB in the FB position and run out of the I formation. Again, I just want a wrinkle. Not a change in offensive mindset.
