Wash vs PSU

Good for Barley for playing today. And as despicable as the PSU scandal was, it has nothing to do with the current PSU football team. Let it go.

Glad to see the BIG mowing down the opposition. If PSU eliminates the TOs, they'll win this one by 40.

And as one of the announcers said, this is why we need an 8-team playoff. Let's play it on the field instead of in the halls of the CFP meeting room.
People are obviously free to root for or against any team for any reason they choose. I root for the B1G in bowl season, but I hate PSU with a passion. Not because of the kids, who did nothing wrong, but because of many many fans that I know personally who still defend Paterno and even minimize what Sandusky did. They think Penn State got screwed.

In my experience, it's disgusting and shocking. If they would just stfu, I could get behind them, I've always admired the program, but as long as I hear that horseshit, I reserve the right to loathe them.

I think you're right. I'm not sure about Jackson that high, but there are enough good QBs in the draft to trade down. I'm no so convinced Sam Darnold is NFL ready after watching him against OSU. Rosen doesn't want to go there so forget that. Trade down, get extra picks, and pick up Mason Rudolph, Jackson, Josh Allen, Mayfield, someone in that range. And get a 1st round OL, too.

And their coach is a Richard head

I prefer to consider it "rooting for the conference." Because I cannot physically say "I'm rooting for Penn State football."

That, I believe I can say with a great degree of certainty, will never happen the rest of my life.

Yeah, I was referring to the 4th pick Pluto mentioned. Take Barkley first overall, trade the 4th overall pick for more picks (including one further down in the 1st--in addition to their OTHER late 1st round pick). They could come out of the first round with Barkley, Jackson/Rudolph/Mayfield, and a 1st round offensive lineman. They have like three more in the 2nd so they can look for WR, more OL, DBs (it's a rich class), or whatever the hell else they need. Their D is okay so they need to focus on O early and often. But I wouldn't pass up Barkley, no way. If you knew for sure he'd be available at #4 then trade 1st pick because Darnold isn't worth the first overall. In fact, he's got a "Ryan Leaf" feel to me. Rosen's concussion issues rule him out of #1 overall in my book, too. So, yeah, Barkley.
