what website is it that predicts the final conference standings and conf tournament seeds, and you can actually go change their assumptions for each game to see how that effects it?

I just plugged in what seemed like an optimistic, but realistic scenario and got this:
1. Michigan St.
2. Iowa
3. Maryland
4. Penn St.
5. Illinois
6. Wisconsin
7. Ohio St.
8. Rutgers
9. Purdue
10. Minnesota
11. Michigan
12. Indiana
13. Nebraska
14. Northwestern

It left us playing the Minnesota/Ohio St. winner then one of NW/Michigan, Wisconsin, Maryland in the semifinals. Michigan St., Penn St., Illinois, and Rutgers all ended up in the other half of the bracket.

We used to have someone around here that did his own "probability spreadsheet" that was fairly accurate. Don't remember who it was or if they still post here. Hope that helps!

Maybe in a few weeks. Way too many variables/games remaining for my methods ;)

I only made the following five (individually not too drastic) changes to the site’s basis, and arrived at us going to Champaign 14-5 with a 1-game lead on the Illini for 1st place:

Iowa over Purdue at West Lafayette
Michigan over MSU in Ann Arbor
Illinois over MSU in Champaign
Ohio St over Maryland in Columbus
Rutgers over Maryland in Piscataway

After PSU's win over MSU, I checked that bball.notnothing.net site and now only had to make the following two relatively reasonable tweeks to arrive as Iowa as co-champs with Maryland & PSU (meaning beating Illini again too would secure standalone title). Bottom line - big game tonight! Go Hawks!

Iowa over Purdue at West Lafayette
Rutgers over Maryland in Piscataway

The site (which uses Sagarin) predicted us to lose to PU and finish 13-7. Now the default has us predicted 11-9 and the 6 seed, because Sagarin also now predicts we’ll lose at IU and Minny once last night factored into those rankings

Ok, so Sagarin again has us predicted to beat IU, so if full chalk holds up we’d be the 6 seed. Beating Minny too would garner the 3 seed. If we finish as predicted, Maryland beating MSU would get us the 4 seed

This seems the most likely outcome

I still like 13-7. @MSU and @ILL will be tough, but not unwinnable. @Minn seems to be the wild card.

I don't disagree, but I would note that Penn State recently won @ MSU and Maryland won @ ILL, so if those teams can do that, no reason to believe Iowa cannot at least split at those two venues.

And I really believe, and hope, that Iowa will enjoy a road sweep this week, winning @ Indiana and @ Minnesota. I just think the Purdue game was the jolt the Hawkeyes needed to renew their focus on the road, plus Fran was smart enough to give the team Sunday and today off after five games in 13 days. Come Thursday the Hawkeyes will be recharged and ready to make a run, starting with a big win in Bloomington.

bump The site is currently predicting PSU over Iowa. Boo! I switched that game to a Hawkeye win and the final prediction was for the Hawks to finish 4th.

We'd be easily #1 in the B1G West if they split the conference that way. Of the current top five in the B1G, we're the only representative from the west. Illinois and Wisconsin just outside that group. Northwestern and Nebraska heavy at the rear.
