Another Big 12 in the process of going down in the 1st round to SF Austin. Not been a good 1st round for the Big 12 & Pac 12

It's over they literally gave up!
Truly pathetic. But what a tourney this is NUTS....just like the regular season! Makes me wonder if Uconn can give Kansas the #1 special in iowa :).

Strange. I thought Baylor and WVU were actually pretty good. Big ten hasn't been great so far either.

I knew it was anything goes this year but didn't expect the upsets we have already seen.

The B1G hasnt exactly shined eithet. Do we really need to start this pissing match again?

That's true be the B1G was not the undisputed # 1 conference in the nation like the Big 12. If Michigan loses both conferences open 4-3 and the B1G did not get the seeding help the Big 12 got once again.

I agree the B1G hasn't performed pretty bad except for IND(no room to brag abou them, that's for sure). But will say that with the favorable spots the b12 and pac12 got....they should have done better. Looks to remain easy for the big 12...do they play a team better than a 9 seed next round?

SFA lost to Baylor by 42 at the beginning of the year. Teams are catching lightning in a bottle at the right time.

The Big 10 is due for a possible down tournament year, they have had a ton of success the past 10-15 years, heck almost half the big ten(6 different programs I think?) have made it all the way to the NC game since 2000 and countless more final four teams.

The Big 12(minus KU) on the other hand continues to shit the bed. Amazing with all their favorable seeds and paths this year KU might be the only one alive in the Elite 8 or to reach the final four...again.

Ok fair enough on the seeding i suppose. I just thonk it is a petty argument at thus point in time. Heck, who from the B1G makes it to the sweet 16 right now? Just dont think we need to be opening this can of worms right now.

With that said. What a tourney so far. I think we all knew there was a lot of parody, but this truly anyones game. Love it and glad iowa has a dog in the fight. Heck, maybe even 3 dogs.

Has the Big 12 even played a power 5/6 school yet in going 4-3? What is there best win?

Can someone tell me what happened during that official review with about 4 minutes left? We had people at our house so I couldn't hear a thing.

The WV player jacked the SFA player. I presume they were looking to see if it was a flagrant 1 or 2 since they popped it up on the screen. Next thing I know WV is in bounding the ball.

SFA is legit. They're something like 90-10 the last three years. You don't do that by accident no matter how bad your conference is.

It was initially called a double foul. They went to the replay as the SFA guys head kinda snapped back and the WVU guys arm was up around the neck. But, it was ruled incidental and double foul.

Basically my point of the thread, that the unpredictability of the tournament has been rather crazy. Although I'd be surprised if the upsets continue much after the 1st round.

The big ten lost a 2 seed and a 5 seed. How much more help is needed?

They called a double foul and reviewed for flagrant. Left it common, WVU was granted the ball due to possession arrow.
