I don't know about getting this thread cast onto your TV.This is top notch work Kwoodhawk. If only I knew how to open this thread on my TV! These old matches remind me of why I started loving Hawkeye wrestling as a kid.
I have watched some of them on YouTube. This just puts them all in one spot for me.I don't know about getting this thread cast onto your TV.
But a lot of these videos are on youtube and could be played there on a smart TV.
Others could guide you how to do it. SPOONER is always very helpful that way.
Screwed him 2 or 3 times in Dake match too.Still pissed that they allowed Thorn to jump the whistle in OT.
I recorded almost all of them on VHS when they were broadcast, but I only bought one or two of the compilations. Years ago I started recording all my old VHS tapes of college and HS State finals onto DVD but quit when the second DVD recorder I bought gave up. Had a Guy from The Mat.com forums I was trading DVDs with, but his recorder broke too.Haha…. What can I say? A great thread is a great thread and great post is a great post. I have almost all those on VHS and ‘97 was my first NCAAs. My dad bought tix from UNI and we had 5th row center. Still have all the bracket sheets from each session, program, and ticket stubs…. Each sessions ticket stub says $12.50 on it. The good old days.. Makes me wanna laugh and cry.
Had tickets to '97 NCAA's and gave up the weekend with Dad to spend with my kids. Dad ended up taking my former HS track/football coach who was living near Cedar Falls at the time. Dad died in Dec '20 and ironically, the guy he took unexpectedly died ~10 days later due to covid. He was quite a bit younger. So, news of his death came as a big surprise.Haha…. What can I say?
