Holy shit, really?! When I envision HORT I envision I'm invading a virtual one of these every time!

I live in a 55+ community, and we have a lot of social events - with loud music and lots of laughing and carrying on. I will always think "Yeah, we've still got it." Then I will see pictures, and we look like a boring group of old geezers. It's sobering.

At what age would any of you move into a 55 plus community? I wouldn't even consider it at 55 and I'm quite a bit older than that and still wouldn't consider it. To me it's just a bunch of old people sitting around playing catch with balloons, although I do know people that live in them and they're very positive about them.

Not exactly a 55+ community, but Cape Coral, where we moved, certainly has a major demographic of over 60. Forbes or Money, or some mag like that years ago rated it in the Top 10 of places to retire to, and apparently a hell of a lot of people did so. There are still plenty of other age groups, but they're all minority by numbers. It REALLY gets out of balance during season!

I don’t look like her.
I went to a vintage car show this morning and checked out the vintage guys who frequent those things. Got checked out by quite a few myself.
I think they were digging my headlights.

Now the important question - what was the coolest car there?

A Dodge Charger with an incredible hemi. It was a black ‘71. Cool dude owned it and had an 8 track Eagles tape in there. He was a bit of a silver fox…

In the non - vintage section there was a Lambo in British Racing green.

If you look that good at 76 you're lucky.

I’ll be 76 this summer and yes, I think the lady looks good. I was extremely blessed to take after my Mom and to look pretty good for my age.

Genetics, retinol, red light therapy, good diet, very rare alcohol and never smoking help. A lot.

I will be 76 inna few days….
Im fortunate that I have found a few genes that have gotten me this far….Lots of overexposure to the sun resulting in several dozens of skin cancer excisions, heart disease that resulted in a triple bypass, a taste for cheap bourbon and cheaper cigars and a good woman is the credit for my long life to date….

Well done. You have no idea how many points you gained on my respectability scale knowing what BRG is. I will be nice to you for 45 days.

I’m 73, and in decent shape.

I need to get back into my yoga. It helps a lot.

I cook a lot, and eat well. Very little meat, mostly fruits and vegetables.

But I was also raised on a farm diet. My mother cooked everyday, we ate raw veggies, and had 1 meat, 1 starch, two vegetables and a salad.

I developed different eating habits by living outside the country. I really didn’t have processed foods until later in life, then I decided to eat only grass fed meats 20 years ago.

Overall healthy, if I eat. Lol
