What are the Positive Takeaways

-Jazz and Moulton will be a very good 1-2 punch

-Wetjen is a weapon, Stevens a stud, punter good going to be great so special teams very good

-?
You pretty much summed it up. I guess if we need another

- off-season is upon us. Lester has said he didn’t get to install as much of the passing game as he would have liked, so hopefully that evolves if KF will allow it

Buie looked good. Need someone to emerge at the X receiver.
We need more help at WR than we do another QB I think. I feel hopeful that with some of the younger QBs pushing Sullivan will continue to get better in the spring. Jimmy Sullivan sounds interesting and I want to see what Brown can do too. Jackson Stratton seems a wild card.

Yup he was awful
I have been told they give all big ten honorable mention, two straight years

If we start J Sullivan at any point as a true frosh, we are in big trouble.

I don't see that happening. But J. Sullivan may play a key role as backup or the emergency QB. Lester played a freshman QB in one of his successful seasons at Western Michigan. He plays to the strengths of what he has to work with and may have inherited a gem in the younger Sullivan.

We have zero idea if this is true. Our scholly QB’s the last 4-5 years have been absolute busts.

For me the only positive is it’s the sort of embarrassing loss that spurs everyone in the program to evaluate what the F we’re doing and want to be better next year.

I consider myself moderate in between the homers and the fans who want wholsesale change and I’m willing to see what this staff, who for all their faults do do a lot of things right, can do for at least one more year.

The outcome was disappointing, but hardly embarrassing. That was last year's bowl loss.

I try to read or listen to some of the links Fran posts. Listened to a discussion where one of them had talked to Lester and he expressed how excited he feels about Jimmy Sullivan. He didn't recruit him so obviously watched plenty of video before he got here after graduating from high school a couple weeks ago.

Not sure it’s a real positive to have a weapon sitting on the bench and kickers kicking away from him.
According to the announcers, Lester said he couldn't trust Wetjen because he would run the wrong route. More trust equals more PT, and he got some today. Hopefully, Wetjen can get on the same page as everybody else, because the Hawks sure could use him on offense.
