What did we learn today?

Of course she has an impact. She's 6-7! Ever play basketball against people who are three, four, five, six inches and more taller than you are? I have, and it ain't easy, especially in the women's game, because women can't make up for the height differential by jumping. Hell, if you can walk and chew gum and are a 6-7 female, you should put up numbers like that.

It was the same thing with Purdue's Zach Edey. Player of the Year my backside. He was 7-4 and about 300 pounds! My gawd, what are you supposed to do with that! Edey had little talent, but he sure as hell put up numbers . . . Why? Because he was the size of a freakin' barn! He had no skills beyond his size. And that's the same for Betts. You can have her.
Edey is talented. He is in the rotation for 3rd best team in West, the Griz, and is considered # 4 choice in rookie of year voting right now.

We learned Iowa can keep the turnovers in double digits. The Hannah can play the four (if a big was going to end up taking a three at the end, I wish Hannah would have been the one out there). We learned Iowa can hang with and beat any team in the BIG.

What we need to see these last two regular season games? More Hannah at the four. McCabe hunting shots like she did in the first half. AOG staying inside 15 feet. More anger while playing.

It was a tough loss, but win these last two games and go make noise in the BIG tourney.
Shot discipline per JJ

We took the #8 team into overtime At THEIR HOME. We were 3 seconds from beating the #3 team We deserve to be in the top 25 and be a 6 or
You don't get acclaim if you get almost to the top of Mt Everest.

You mean the guy averaging 9 points and 8 rebounds and shooting 57% from the field in the NBA this year as a rookie? Yep, he sucks. Only tall.

How can that blonde ref not see that she was tripped? There should’ve been a foul on the tripper we all know that. that totally sucks how that ended.

There were 2 officials with good looks, it appears (male ref on the other sideline). And they both made the same call?

The person who posted this video (who was in the stands on the other end of the court) even could see Lucy got tripped, which is an OFFENSIVE foul, of course.

The officials for the game were:
  • Felicia Grinter
  • Julie Krommenhoek
  • Michael McConnell

Has any women's official gotten well known because of their calls or antics? Example: TV Teddy (Ted Valentine). There are so many more examples on the men's side, of course.

Whatever happened to the officials for the 2023 National Championship game? They were awful but I couldn't tell you their names. I think they were all female, though LOL

I'm not an officials are against us guy and we have received plenty of calls our way. With that being said, women's officiating is awful. I understand they want women to call the women's game but a lot of them are in over there head.

Your name is perfect. Maybe change it to something that starts with an A and ends with an E.
They are likeable players just not much better than a bubble team. I could pretend they are more like you and then perhaps I won't be an A hole.
