What do you not want to happen after you die?

I fully embrace the potential to come back as a ghost.
I also wouldn't mind being eaten by animals - circle of life and all that.
I'll be pissed off if my family does not cremate me and has an open casket. I hate looking at dead bodies of people I knew. There is not a funeral home director in the world that make someone look normal

Every open-casket visitation/funeral I’ve been to was awful. The body looks like a raisin plastered in makeup, and it’s a terrible way to remember someone you cared about.

Im with OP on the been thinking a lot about it lately, age and dad passing a couple years ago, def spend a lot of time thinking about it. Don't think about it as much as the Roman Empire, but do think a lot about my mortality.
My biggest fear is my wife sells my fishing gear for what she thinks I paid for it.

I did EMS for 17 years and my favorite thing was the dead body after 2 weeks so that’s how I want to go out.
I’m gonna be taxidermied and propped up on a rocking chair. Will record a few of my witty sayings to go with it like one of them talking bass things.

mannn this reminds me. A long while back a high school classmate's brother passed in a single car accident and wasn't found for a few days. He was pretty roughed up. The family still had an open casket. The mortitian did what he could, but man it did not look like him. It was some uncanny valley shit. Like it was him, but it wasn't.
They should not have had an open casket.
