Currently we have some really cool things going on:

* The Nile Kinnick Heisman speech
* 'Back in Black'
* The Swarm
* The Wave
* At least one night game per year
* The "I - 0 - W - A" cheer

What needs to be done or added next?

How does your wi-fi work, for example?

Lets face it. For whatever reason tickets are selling pretty well this year. Students appear to be back. It is something Iowa has done that is keeping people from staying home/watching on their HD/4K TV's?

Just curious on your thoughts.

Let us leave the stadium and return.
what is the reason behind this? heck, if you have a valid ticket, who cares?

they do this at professional team games, too. For example, a couple years back, the Twins game had a LONG rain delay and people left the game and went to nearby bars. A couple hours later the game restarted. I decided to head back to the stadium to see what would happen if I tried to re-enter the game. In this case, the ticket checker let me go back in but I don't know if that was a one off or not because his scanner had a "NO RE-ENTRY" message.

A good rock 'n' roll song that everybody sings along with between the 3rd and fourth quarter. Something like Springsteen's "Born in the USA", Manfred Mann's DooWaDitty DittyDum Dittydo. "Will you be my girl" is ok but never play "Hey Jude"

It was in response to 9/11. It's a security risk to be able to leave and then come back in. That's the thinking but couldn't you just recheck the people coming back in again?

It's a mundane mention, but I'd like a PA system that works and is always at the appropriate sound level rather than fluctuating between "I can't hear what they're saying" to "It's so loud I can't hear myself think." That is all.

BTW: I do like the live hawk thing. I do believe Air Force has been doing something like that with a falcon for a long time.

Scoring more than opponents consistently is really all I care about

For some, they need access to information like scores from around the country that Iowa cannot provide on its tiny scoreboards or via the PA that seldom works properly. For others, wi-fi is necessary to monitor Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media that cannot be ignored for three or four consecutive hours.
the fact (sad?) is that people love taking pics and videos and posting it all on Facebook, etc. When phones work and fans can do that quickly they are happy and hopefully want to come back. When they can quickly post to Facebook, they can get back to the live game action

1) so I can get my thoughts (which are always right) into the game thread.

2) check other scores around the B1G and country. The awesome scoreboard updates don’t really cut it.

3) check stats on the game. Again, see the scoreboard updates above.

4) media timeouts and halftime just suck.

when you look around the stadium, everyone has a phone in their hand or in their pocket and during down times, selfies, internet browsing, etc, occur and fans expect their phones to work

bottom line: Iowa needs to keep fans happy where they have a great time watching the game & doing/experiencing everything else that goes with it
