What happened to Michigan basketball

Their best player Jett Howard, is best in iso basketball with the ball in his hands. Their second best player Dickinson, is best with a lot of paint touches and ball movement. They also have a freshman PG who also runs a lot of iso sets.
Just overall they have a roster build that doesn't really make sense of what they want to do. If Dickinson had 4 shooters around him and a post-feeder similar to what Fran did with Garza, they would compete for the conference title. But Howard is also trying to get his son to the league so that creates some issues.

Yes, Beilein was great. If Fran swallowed his pride and brought in a defensive specialist assistant like JB did he could get past the first rd ncaa hump and maybe contend for real BTC semi regularly

Dickinson is the best underused player in the league. Coaching sucks.
Too much roster turnover between one and done freshman and grad transfers.
