Prom just isn’t a very good head coach. He took over a top ten team and it has been on the decline ever since. They will be back to McDermott levels if ISU keeps him long enough.

At some point, we need to give Iowa some credit. I get that Iowa did not play well against DePaul, but this team has some talent and plays well together. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the beatdown they just handed the Cyclones.

Well....they don’t have any identity as a team, they are poor shooters, they don’t really play as a team, and they only have one really decent player (and he pulls his shorts up to his boobs and has a worse shot than Troy skinner).
weird. I don’t see anyone here not enjoying the win. Iowa appears to be a fine team. Isu, at least what I saw tonight, was awful. Uninspired, zero hustle, poorly coached etc.... I fully admit I haven’t watched a single second of any other clown games this year, and likely won’t watch anymore after tonight. Sorry if I hurt your feelings for calling them terrible.
I dunno, now ISU gets bailed out by playing in that 2 team conference (like football) and will probably end up looking okay even though they suck....just like last yr
Jesus the Debbie Downers have got to get a grip. Coming into the season people were blathering about Lickliter like teams. Half this board said we'd lose to TT, 'Cuse and in Clownville, yet the boys came through and won those games.
We will face appalling officiating in conference games and might not make the NCAA but I think as of now we are in the top 64 teams. We know the Curse will get us somehow but let's enjoy the moment.

Yes if tournament started today Iowa would be in. That doesn't mean a whole lot, as there are 18 conference games + Cincinnati. But will be interesting at least.
