I don't usually watch the show but I happened to watch the final puzzle with my wife who always watches it. After he revealed the mil on the card I asked the wife if this has happened before and she said "Oh yeah".
Lot of old people in this thread. I didn't know anyone younger than 50 still watched that show.
Interesting hypothesis. Do many of you find that older women become more attractive as you age? Or do they just seem more available? Is availability part of the attractiveness calculation?
Yeah difference is, we have always sucked, suck currently and will suck forever. We have no illusions of being good...ever.
I highly doubt anyone has got that close to a million and lose. I think there has been one maybe two million winners on the show. The odds of getting to the final round with a million chance is difficult enough, then a roulette roll you have a 1 in 15-20 shot to pick the million card, then guess the puzzle. Odds have to be greater than 1 in 500 to win a mil.
Haven't listened to Bob and Tom in years.
But funny story: I had a business trip with one of our employees. She was HOT!!! So we're listening to Bob and Tom for some stupid reason and we're driving along. All of a sudden they have a porn star for a guest. The discussion addressed how to avoid little red bumps when you shave the beaver.
I immediately change the channel. The hottie turns the channel back to the porn star as she suggests a warm wet towel, fresh razor, and trimming with the grain.
We never discussed the topic. But she went from a strong 8.5 to 9.9 in my eyes.
