Should help with the committee. The last two games have been won on last second shots, but you have to place yourself in the position to get those. And they did. Scary thought: What if Baker waited a couple more seconds to make that three?
yeah; we would have been screwed! and my RELB would have been in jeopardy!

When IOWA was 16-5:

* 72% Predicted a 5-5 OR WORSE Reg Season Finish
* We are, however, 5-1 since then with 4 games to go.

#11 on Jan 17 Nebraska (A)

.
Quadrant 2 (0 games): Home vs a 31-75, Neutral site vs 51-100, Away vs 76-135.

NONE LEFT ON THE SCHEDULE

When looking at the last 10 game stretch of the Regular Season:

* Iowa has started impressively at 5-1. We suddenly went from 16-5 to to 21-6.

* 3 of the 4 remaining games are Quad 1 games, so there is still room to improve its resume.

* 3 tough road games, all Quad 1, remain.

--Can we get a season sweep of Ohio State & Debbie? Both will be fighting for their postseason lives & it will be Senior Day for both programs.

--Can we get revenge & manage a season split with Connie? It's Senior Day there, too.

* Our 1 remaining home game will not be a cake walk, even though it's a "just" a Quad 3 game. Rutgers is giving everyone fits. We say good bye to Baer so hopefully Carver is packed.

A 3-1 record over these last 4 games would be great. That would put us at 8-2 over our last 10 and 24-7 overall.

But I think most of us would settle for a 2-2 record to put us at 7-3 over our last 10 and 23-8 overall.

I would definitely be ok with 2-2 over the next 4. Beat Rutgers at home and win one of the road games. Would absolutely love to get revenge on Wisconsin after letting that game slip away at Carver. All 3 of those road games are going to be so damn tough, and Rutgers will not be easy either. I have a feeling we are in for some dog fights folks. Can’t wait till Tuesday!!

Rank our 4 remaining games from toughest to easiest .

I would say:
Wisconsin
Ohio State
Nebraska
Rutgers

I think you’re exactly correct.

I had voted 21-10, 10-10 in the B1G. One of my predictions was 11-9 in the B1G but I had noted somehow I think we go 10-10. Can this team exceed this? Yes, but if there’s anything I know about our program is it’s consistently inconsistent. Good win streaks, bad losing streaks, great games and absolute dumpster fires. We see it all.

This is a good year going, with a chance to do much better than what I think. If the kids want to make a run though, good seeding makes a world of difference. End up in the 8-9 seed and you are facing Duke in North Carolina round 2 type of deal. Thanks for playing and we have some wonderful parting gifts.

Going into this current 4 game stretch I was thinking 1-3 or 0-4 .... with the lone win possibly being Michigan. We seem to play them well most years and I think it’s because they are not a physical, hack/grab team. We are a finesse team so their style matches up well for us. We are 1-2 now in this stretch so a road win at Indiana would be big to get to 2-2, 1 game better than I thought.

@Franisdaman —- how is this for calling an accurate shot.

it bleeping sucks

i had them at 7-3 and lets face it, we should have been 7-3!!!
No. They should be exactly as they are, maybe worse. At the very least the win at Rutgers was on a fluke shot, even as I was proud of how they never let go of the rope in that game.
