Aren't gopher fans concerned about Fleck's long-term recruiting results? I would think most recruits would see through that "rah rah" BS. Without key injuries to Iowa's o-line and some easy drops, Hawks would have blown out Minny last night, but a win is a win. Iowa's recruiting is looking up, so I welcome future match-ups with the "row the boaters".

Let's see how many of Minny's "recruits" actually end up signing. I will go by the scoreboard advantage that Iowa has had over Minny in recent past. MN is a pro sports state, so lack of overall fan support will continue to plague the goofers. I just did explain! Once he gets your worthless program back to bowl eligibility after back to back 4-8s he will claim he rebuilt it! Then he will leave for Boise State or some other mid major step up!

You took over a team that was FREAKING 9-4. Can't believe that the players on the team are too fond of the year zero talk.
I'm not sure if you're talking to me here but I certainly do believe that stars matter and I've never said PJ is having trouble recruiting. I think he's a decent coach and although he's a little over the top, he's not all that bad. Just giving one reason as to why Minnesota supposedly has a better class than Iowa.

That team that was 9-4 beat purdue at the buzzer, and had to kick a game winning field goal to beat rutgers. They had a senior qb who was bad, but not the current bad. They had a secondary who put 3 players on NFL rosters,(boddy-calhoun helped the vikings out today as he committed pass interference twice) and they now have nothing back there. Winfield out and the rest were booted for the assault case. They had a walk on, and freshman playing cornerback last night.
I thought we would be 6-6, but rhoda and croft are worse than I thought. If you've heard this from numerous gopher fans, you might want to explain it to
them.

I'm not sure I've ever met one hawk fan that thinks Iowa is better than those schools historically?? As of recent success Iowa has been far better than Michigan and nebraska

I've read a total of zero posts from Iowa fans on here claiming Iowa is an elite program. A hell of a lot better than Minnesota, no doubt, winning 5 of the last 6, but certainly no claims of greatness.
Again, a new hobby would probably be more beneficial for you than making an ass of yourself on an Iowa message board.
Oh I don't know maybe the following couple odd ball plays: Iowa receiver drops a long pass right in his hands which bounces into a goofer's hands for an "interception", Iowa's tight end has a big play only to be called back on a bogus holding call as said tight end was just making a block at line of scrimmage before flaring out for the pass, and right before half Iowa running back Butler "fumbles" as Iowa is going in for a score or at least a field goal. This game had a 27 to 7 feel to it.
