The Tar Heels have a terrible record in the state of Iowa, including losing at UNI a few years back when they came in #1.

Funny, I think Iowa is 4-1 against UNC in my lifetime including 2-0 in the Dean Dome.

The way this Iowa team is built, they’d contend in any season. Elite big man plus an offense that‘s built on ball movement with a half dozen guys who can knock down 3s. They’re going to have their defensive issues, but they’ll be a tough out.
But recruiting-wise, the Heels seem to do very well in Iowa when they come calling.
Iowa, Illinois, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Maryland...I could win the conference or finish 5th and have a solid team either way. The B10 is loaded with talent.
The B1G bitch slapped the ACC last night. The ACC will have to win out tonight just to break even.
Iowa played well, but I was very impressed with UNC's big guys. That Sharpe is really good. I watched the Duke-Illinois game and that Duke team did not look on the same level as UNC. That or Illinois is the best team in the country. One game isn't really big enough of a sample size to make any conclusions with, but UNC looked like a stronger team than Duke did.

NCs "bigs" are gonna be difficult for lots of teams to match up with.
Garza picked up 13 fouls on them altogether - not many teams will have anyone like that to challenge them. The Garza-Nunge combo really made a difference. And Nunge didn't even play his best game.
