Which bowl we going?

Doubt it. SEC has 6-7 playoff-quality teams, and only 3-4 will go to the CFP, so we'll be drawing one of them. The "good" news for Iowa is that, in this day and age, bowl games are frequently played between teams that are shells of themselves, so maybe they could actually pull off a win against a team that is clearly superior. Looks the same in the record books....
The last two weeks I watched Georgia struggle with UMASS, and get outplayed by Georgia Tech.

SEC is down. The only one I’d rather not play is Ole Miss. Great rush defense.

Will coconut shrimp be involved?
Not anymore. But Tampa / Reliaquest Bowl sounds likely against an SEC team who will have a ton of opt outs and still probably wipe the floor with us with their 2nd and 3rd string. I hate to be pessimistic, but something similar to last year's debacle vs. Tennessee seems a lot more likely than not.

If Iowa wins, Kirk will be 7-7 against current SEC teams in bowl games.

Rhule crying like a bitch

Delay of game? It’s a time out

Shut the f up Ruhr!!!!’

Bucket list game 😂for me

The Detroit bowl is for Minny and Purdue and (most years) Indiana and similar.

Iowa is in the next class up, and will never go to Detroit.
I have said I will go to it when Iowa goes, as I have family in the ‘burbs there (that I used to stay at for Lions games). But it would take a 6-6 year and other things to fall in to place. Been happy the last dozen years not to go.

Tampa is a nice Bowl, better weather , fun for the Team and that extra 5 Weeks of practice time for underclassmen is huge , A good number of those Kids need to make a move because Iowa loses a ton due to graduation and early draft Guys.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Another glaring example of talent disparity and lack of depth.

Tampa is still a mess as are the hotels, beaches, attractions and restaurants. Please don’t go in expecting it as you remember they have 7 months before cleanup will be on par with what you remember. Most of the hotels are mum on the damage when you ask so fair warning if you are wanting a beach vacation.

I don't know why people dog on New York. We went to that bowl game and even though it was freezing New York City at Christmas is pretty awesome.

I’d much rather go to New York but I lived in Arizona a long time. Maybe after I’ve got 7-8 years in Washington, I’d prefer Florida lol

We go to Indian Shores for all of January. Beaches are much better now as is entire area, with restaurants reopening etc. Only 1 hour from Tampa.

Curious if Michigan winning bumps them up to Outback, and Iowa/Minnesota will be in Mayo & Nashville.

So if Iowa can only get about 50 yards rushing against Nebraska.... And it's a struggle to get that.... How on Earth can anybody think they can put up any points at all in a bowl game?
Who we playing and how many guys they got sitting out? Its exhibition season. Like NFL preseason game. You bet on those?

Went to Manhatten the second weekend of January this year. Wasn't that cold at all. Can't wait to get back up there.
