Kirk is the gift that keeps on giving. Up 33 instead of working on the passing game he lays down and the qb gets no work. Then inexplicably they decide to try some dumb pass play. Zero logic.

I honestly don't blame him for just trying to get out of here with a win. NW has been a thorn in our side for years. Just bleed the clock and end it. They'll regroup and start practicing with Sully at the 1.

the N’western series is tied 14-14 since 1995. That is the most embarrassing thing I’ve heard in long time.
That alone should be a reason for a coach to be shown the door.
It's in the back of my mind, too. But after this performance, Kirk can't trot out Cade as a starter going forward. Sully was too convincing today.
Fitz always circled the Iowa game. I'm sure he's still pissed that we broke his leg. Randy Walker wasn't a big fan either.

Would you care to see a list of the teams NW has beaten in that time, the best period of time in their teams history? I'm constantly amazed at the disrespect that many of our fans show our opponents. Is it beneath your ability to comprehend that the team in that time period is SO much better then the one that Fry kicked around in the horrid little 8 back in the 80's and early 90's?
All started with Gary Barnett who came to NW in 92 and won the B1G in95. They've been a much better team since then ever in their history....
I don’t post much. I’m still skeptical that Sullivan is really handing the ball of to KJ better than Cade, but I’ll leave it up to you experts to know just how much of a difference he made. If Sullivan is better, great, start him. I didn’t see Sullivan do anything that Cade didn’t do against Washington.
Just stop. The guy was playing because they put him out there. His TEAM MATES named him a captain. His play has been poor. There's no getting around that, but for "fans" to come here and call the guy a loser for going out and probably doing his best is WAY over the line. Call out his poor play, or even more so his coach for playing him, but this other shit SHOULD be beneath someone who is (supposedly) a fan, and none of our players deserve that....
Look at his record against Iowa State. Then Indiana. None are records to be overly proud about. The ISU record improved for a few years but now he’s back finding ways to lose to them.

Really? Those are the stickers you go and vote. I imagine they took the whole team out to vote early, so they would have it out of the way....
True, but they did only have 13 winning seasons in these 30 years too. Outside of maybe four seasons in this time frame, they have been a below average B1G at best. Especially in the first 15 years (1995-2009). Northwestern has been much more respectable of late, but 14-14 is still pretty embarrassing anyway you look at it.

Get off your high horse, he’s made serious cash to be completely awful. Money that would take a lot of people a decade to earn. Players are absolutely open to criticism on message boards. Only place I draw the line is engaging them in real life or attacking any of them directly on their social media.
If it wasn’t for these goddamn stupid penalties Iowa should be up 21-3 or maybe even 24-3!!! Uncharacteristic of Iowa making these stupid ass penalties….
