Who does Garza most remind you of in the NBA?

LeBron James. Do it all from anywhere on the floor besides flop. They are pretty much like twins!
Pretty solid. Size is nearly identical. Garza is a touch slower though.

It was a shame Nba fans didn't get to see Sabonis in his prime. He was actually very athletic and would have been the best big in the nba mid 80s to mid 90s.
He is one of my favorites. My pick is an absolute compliment.

Sabonis is an all time great. Even as an older player he was really the only guy who could slow down Shaq.
Shaq would not have been able to stop Sabonis in his prime.
I like that comparison. The older, slower, NBA Sabonis with the bum knees. (Which isn't a knock...that Sabonis was amazing)

Luka is great but not even remotely close to McHale or the Joker, not by a long shot.

They have a similar build, and lack of jumping ability.
Marc was a better defensive player than offensive though.

Sabonis had more inches but I think the presence is similar. Especially with how the game has changed.
The best comp I've heard is Enis Kanter.
Their around the rim games are similar but Kanter is more explosive.
Kanter doesn't have an outside game though so the comp is still not great.
Lukas shooting is going to get him a chance.

I think in the right situation he can have a good long career in the NBA and his motor is going to make some coach really happy
Yeah, Brad Miller was more of a defender with an outside shot.
He was no where near as talented as Luka offensively.
There really aren't many bigs who are so good inside, shoot %40+ from 3 and can't jump. Luka may be the only one.
Luka def has range. I have called him a generic Dirk a time or two. Not as agile though.
The more I think about it the more I think the comp is Dirk Nowitsky.

Luka really has a rather unique skill set . His shooting this year has improved even though it was always good. Same with defense, rebounding, and passing is an improving skill.
He really is a smart player with a tremendous motor, yet not the athlete you usually see in the NBA. I think some smart GM is going to be really happy he selected Luka.
