I don’t know what is more laughable, the fact that some people actually think AOC is more intelligent than Musk, or the Musk fanboys defending his gaming prowess.

Musk is very very smart on pure IQ terms. I know multiple people that know him personally and everyone says the dude is very smart (some of them are quite strong detractors of Musk otherwise). On the other hand his EQ is approaching 0. He is super spiky, not all that rare for folks on the spectrum.

AOC, definitely of above average intelligence with a much higher EQ than Musk. But I find it very hard to believe that she would be anywhere close to his IQ.

For the record I can’t stand Musk, but love my Tesla.

He’s a bullshit artist for sure, but he didn’t just make good bets buying the companies. He made astute hiring decisions, expansion decisions, logistics decisions, etc.

I dislike the lying, the market manipulation, and the ego, but I won’t pretend that he didn’t build two incredible businesses.

Tesla still makes the best electric cars. Their FSD isn’t actually full self-driving, but it is remarkable. Tesla’s charging network isn’t what he said it would be, but it is the best in the industry. He hasn’t gone to mars, but his rockets do launch important infrastructure. Star Link isn’t a replacement for all terrestrial internet, but it’s a significant development in accessibility.

You helped pay for him to build those businesses. He didn't use his own money.

Well the title of the thread is "Who is Smarter". You've pointed out that there are several different types of intelligence. Musk certainly excels at some things, and fails spectacularly at others. I have no problem if you want to use IQ as a variable, but we don't know the IQ of either, so I'm not sure how it's relevant.

This is HBOT, we make proclamations all the time without any fact base to back it up. All I’m saying is I bet Musk has a much higher IQ than AOC, but AOC is no dummy. Plus she has a much higher EQ.

The only thing I know for sure is that my opinion on this matter is pretty much worthless since I’m neither a psychologist nor someone who has interacted with either of them.

(But I’m definitely right 😜)
