Russia threw out a lot of threats toward Finland about joining NATO as well including military attacks. Finland joined NATO. What did Russia do - folded.
Putin wanted no part of a NATO war retaliation.

I'm sure many of you don't like Scott Ritter, but he lays out a different reality on Russia Ukraine than what most on the left believe.
They NEVER would have let them join NATO to begin with.......that is the whole point. Just the simple act of them saying they wanted in set that idiot Putin off.
BOTH the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Ukraine war were about weapons ending up being stationed on a country's border who did not want them.
And, interestingly, Putin had similar bluster when Finland was in the process of joining. The fear was letting them join would set off a war. Guess what - it didn't. Putin wants no part of NATO. His wet dream would be to get the US to withdraw from it and Trump just might make that orgasm happen.

That's the point. They hadn't joined NATO and Russia still attacked them. Russia doesn't keep their word.
Again, if Biden had just brokered peace by telling Ukraine to come out as neutral.......many, many people would still be alive.

It absolutely calls into question his judgement. Anyone that doesn’t have the common judgement to know it is wrong to masturbate in front of a 15 year old shouldn’t be listed to on any topic ever. I don’t care if this prick agrees with everything I believe, he still shouldn’t be listened to.
This is not hard.
It makes his judgement invalid. However it says a LOT about you.
The fact that he is a regular contributor on Russian controlled media networks certainly calls into question his biases and motivations. Further it is pretty easy to imagine someone with his poor judgement could be easily exposed and subject to blackmail.
183-5 on if Russia or Ukraine started the war to put in perspective how much the American Kremlin are stepping into it going so blatantly all in with Russia.
