Who wrestles McEnally and Plott in upcoming matches? Gabe or Angelo?

My thoughts as well, then Brands/Hamiti and Angelo/Plott vs. Okie St. is my guess.
Are you suggesting that Iowa can afford to lose 184 to Minny, but not Okie State and that we're losing 174 to Okie State regardless who goes?

Not trying to put words in your mouth.

Nah, the twins don't want anyone to take the light off of them. Why do you think Metcalf, StJohn, Borschel, McDonough, Ramos, Clark and every other stud we have had in the last 15 years are all somewhere else. Maybe when Spencer leaves people will realize that TnT are the problem not the guys that went elsewhere because they weren't welcomed in Iowa City. Gable had his recently graduated hammers as coaches. Hmmmmm, that would make sense. He didn't hire average guys like M* and Bob.
Congrats! Idiot of the ****ing day.

I didn’t say that, but seems pretty accurate z

Nope to both. The only way Gabe can get a better seed at B10s than McEnelly is to beat him. Plott will get second in the B12 either way. Gabe wants to be the 2 or 3 seed going into B10s, not the 4 or 5. I don't see that happening without wrestling McEnelly. I don't see PK beating Hamiti, but Brands could. It will be a tall task coming off injury, but if NB is going to be the man at 174 that is a great test going into B10s. It will also be his last match in Carver, so I think he gets the nod.

This is how your coaches should be thinking - how to best position their guys to do their best. It doesn't always work like that, though.

It's a medulla...
Let's not bring middle eastern religion into the cesspool.

Ed Banach was one hell of a coach for Gable!

Does wrestling unattached count against a true freshman’s competition count towards redshirt? If not then I can’t figure out why the coaches wasted one of Ferrari’s competition in the Soldier Salute when he could have easily wrestled in it unattached.

No. This was a head scratcher. Could have left another date open if there was an injury. Did not understand him being attached there

if Iowa burns his RS and he finishes 3rd, next year all of you will say it was a mistake to burn the RS and it cost Iowa a year of Angelo with Bo and whoever joins that class. What does it mean for GA if he is benched last minute - is he unhappy then? does he portal?

whatever Tom decides will be the wrong choice with you lot regardless

sometimes guys leave on their own accord. maybe Tom does make that decision and that is exactly what is being referenced. maybe they realign the staff with the HWC

I refuse to beleive even the best of the PSU posters (of which I hold the tow of you and @PSUmike in that regard) cant think outside the box more then just what makes Iowa look the absolute worst - its just more veiled trolling compared to the obvious ones
agree, need to get as many of our top recruits wrestling together as long as possible, not spread them out. If we can get Angelo 3 years with Bo and hopefully 3 more top ten guys in 2026 class that would be great.

My first guess would be that the Salute counted as a 1st semester date. True freshmen are barred from wrestling unattached in 1st semester if they are to use the 5-date-and-keep-your-shirt option.

That would make sense looking at the Maryland dual being Estrada’s 5th date. I thought somewhere I’d heard the salute was 2nd semester but I must b mistaken

I come in peace, but, I do find it extremely ironic that the majority here calls him Stallrocci, despite the fact that he has completely dominated everyone this season, constantly stalking and attacking EXCEPT for Angelo Ferrari! He did stalk him, but, he was beyond careful with him, which is the ultimate compliment. He obviously truly respected Angelo's ability, and just wanted to get away with a victory.

As long as he keeps his head, you guys have a phenomenal wrestler in Angelo. I was extremely impressed with what I saw. I'm hoping he goes against Plott, as I think he can win that match. I think Arnold is talented too, but, I believe Angelo is at a different level.

I'm in the minority at PSU who misses the competition. With Bo to Iowa and Jax to Okie St., there is going to be a lot of excitement in the near future, and that is a good thing for this sport.

The majority of posters don’t call him Stallrocci, just a few who post often.

He was called Stallrocci long before this year. It stuck for some i guess. That's understandable

it's not because he stalls. We are just bad at names in the cesspool. It started with Logan Stiebler.
