This American Life had a story a few weeks ago "10 Thins I Don't Want To Hate About You" where the dad went off the deep end into right wint/evengelical media. Drove his family apart. He legit made a 10,000 bet over things like Biden, Hilary, Obama all being found for treason and Trump being installed in 2024 and instituting marshal law.
Dude wouldn't back down from anything. Filled his garage with doomsday prep stuff like pallets of bottled water and ready to eat meals.
Wife had enough at 65 years old and left him. Kids don't talk to him either bc all he wants to talk about is Biden being a body double.
I only agree with 90% of this man’s claims.

of land and several buildings full of…whatever she could because she knew the end was coming and she’d have the upper hand with all of her resources. OK, got a text back from my other former co-worker that's more in tune with the soon to be divorcee. Looks like this has been boiling for a while. Their house is on the market and has been for a couple weeks. Confirmed it's on realtor.com. Not sure what triggered our boy to go public on FB. She doesn't know much about what's up but is going to keep me in the loop. I love a public meltdown.
These were the 10 predictions he put $10,000 down on. All would have to come true for him to win.

My former coworker's spouse divorced him bc he spent hours a day posting about politics on social media instead of getting things done around the house and spending quality time with the family. She didn't care about his politics, she just saw him for what he is, a loser.This is breaking news to me and my details are probably as accurate as a Trump press conference - but it appears a former co-worker is getting divorced and the primary driver is the wedge that has formed between them due to differing politics. Some stats:
Him - Vocal trumper. Like a deep-end guy, similar to the HORTers you'd think of when you think loony political loser. Blue collar, HS education.
Her - Not particularly political but definitely in tune and vocal about women's issues. White collar, college educated.
Location - Western Iowa
Kids: 3 - 2 in HS, 1 in college. I think, may be the other way around but almost out of the house.
Married: Probably 20sh years?
He can't STFU about anything so it appears it will be playing out on social media. Tag this thread if you want updates on the soap opera.
