Wow, I hope it works out for him. It can't be as bad as this one friend of a friend of a friend’s spouse that spends his time following this dude like a lost puppy that is completely under his skin on the internet though. It's pretty pathetic he doesn't see it but it's obvious. Almost as pathetic as his wrestling takes. He's got so little to look forward to in life that he finds things like getting help on the side of the road as some huge, uplifting moment about humanity. Overall he just comes across as dull and doesn't appear to have much going for him so I hope he's able to avoid divorce. My guess is he's incredibly lucky to have fooled someone to put up with him this long. Praying. Praying so hard.

I've known so many people get divorced around that same age with kids that age. Mid-life crises are very real. Not suggesting politics weren't some of the reason or maybe the main reason. But this is so common.

The largest “new group” of divorcing couples are older couples who are new empty nesters.
The “Silver Split” is couples who have been too busy with raising kids and advancing careers and when the house is suddenly empty they realize they’re living with a different person than the young twenty something they married out of college.

Update! In a twist I did not expect, the guy is the one that has requested the divorce! Turns out he has already moved out of the house (which they're selling) and is in his own place. According to my former co-worker she wanted to reconcile but he was disinterested and already had a lady friend who is evidently a divorcee from a nearby town that shares similar views on everything from motorcycle ridin' to yes...politics...and he has decided he will be happier with her. And he said as such to the wife when he stated he's not interested in reconciling.

He has gone relatively quiet this week on his FBs sans a few Elon posts. Turns out the little drama he churned out last week was due to some disagreements on finances and he was letting off steam and mixed in his politics.

And everybody thought she was leaving him because he went full MAGA! (I kinda wondered too)
