Regardless, there still needs to be a semblance of fiscal responsibility.Because despite what the right thinks, Governments don't operate like businesses and can't operate like businesses.

And churches too. 😉People are always trying to apply the same misguided logic to education as well.
No, it’s because many people are apparently ignoring, or simply ignorant, of our massive debt and the problems that it will create. So, this is all because people were too happy and enjoying their lives too much? Nice country you want to live in here.
Also a project to let Republicans have their say on social media. 😉He didn't buy X to make a profit. It's a vanity project more or less.
He probably should have said “he doesn’t need the money”. 😜look...we can disagree on whether we should just assume he'll do a great job reforming something he knows little to nothing about
but GTOH with "he doesn't need the accolades"...the only person more desperate for constant attnetion than elon is elon's new boss
It may be worthwhile, but some hard decisions on budget spending need to be made.Sure we can. Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it not worthwhile.
Ok. Hard decisions. If that's the way you feel then unless making cuts to the trillion dollar military are discussed then the politicians aren't serious. He probably should have said “he doesn’t need the money”. 😜

When was the last time you heard about anyone discussing making cuts there?Where have you heard that the military budget is off the table?
We are going to increase revenues by trillions with tariffs. I don’t hate the tariffs, especially China, but they’re not going to be some game changer, the cost will be paid by consumers and a few super rich Americans will be the primary beneficiaries of the move. The idea that we can slash corporate taxes even more, rack up more debt, and balance it out with some tariffs is laughable.Aren’t increased tariffs a new revenue source?
Trump’s not a dictator…he wants input from others. 😉I'd rather think for myself. But each to his own.
I agree that corporate taxes shouldn’t be “slashed”, just need to be competitive with rest of the world corp tax rates. We are going to increase revenues by trillions with tariffs. Or, Dave could be a serial killer. 🤔Dave might, in fact, be leading a happy life - earning enough, enjoying what he does, intact moral values....
He did to Twitter what Trump did to the GOP: turned it into a cesspool.Did you see what he did at Twitter??
You aren’t on Twitter much, aye. It was a disaster. After he bought X, he massively cut personnel operating this company and it apparently didn’t hurt their daily biz operations.
Anymore I don't think Trump is strong enough to be a dictator. Musk is making him look like a little bitch. Real dictators don't play second fiddle to their employees.Trump’s not a dictator…he wants input from others. 😉
Agreed, there is waste in the military and some cuts will be needed.Ok. Hard decisions. If that's the way you feel then unless making cuts to the trillion dollar military are discussed then the politicians aren't serious.
Fortunately, I’ve never been on Twitter. 👏🏻You aren’t on Twitter much, aye. It was a disaster.
Good to hear you don’t think Trump is/will be a dictator…that was certainly a Dem talking point b4 the election.Anymore I don't think Trump is strong enough to be a dictator. Musk is making him look like a little bitch. Real dictators don't play second fiddle to their employees.
We may have been wrong on who the Dictator will actually be though.Good to hear you don’t think Trump is/will be a dictator…that was certainly a Dem talking point b4 the election.
Does he? He knows how to bait and switch. Well that and take credit for other people’s successes. But he knows how to cut fat out of an organization. There's a lot of fat to cut in the Federal Government.
I'd like to see some of the interviews....
