It has way more to do with what they do when they get elected to office that's the problem. Why does anyone care what someone else does on Sunday mornings?

They can? What makes you an expert in that? Do you know what their financial obligations are?
Ok sure lolYou are a master at deflecting and a bigot, too. I hope people don't fall for your nonsense when you knock on their doors.
Have a nice day.
Ok sure lol
Bigot!?!?
Oh and around 5000 a week are being baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses .
I think if you do a little more research u would find that Jehovahs Witnesses are known worldwide for their love and unity .
U have a nice day also
Some of us can't dumb ourselves down to believe in God.Going to Church is like getting free money.
The social sciences are clear: people that go to Church weekly are happier, live longer, give more to charity, volunteer more, have lower suicide rates, less drug overdoses, etc., etc.
The #1 reason America is such a disaster now is because 80% of Americans no longer attend Church and America is an atheist country.
(I didn't go from age 18 to 33.)
IMHO.

And please lose the bold type. It's ridiculous.

Atheists are more intelligent than religious people, finds study
Religious people are, on average, less intelligent than atheists, researchers claim.www.independent.co.uk
I don’t disagree with you at all.Why does anyone care what goes on behind closed doors? Why does anyone care what others do with their bodies? I can keep going, but I’m sure you’ll ignore my point anyway.
maybe they have an elderly parent in very costly memory care. Or a student debt they’re still paying off. Or they have a child in a private school because they live in a place with subpar public education. If they're rich, they can give more, if they choose to.
Seems like common sense to me.![]()
Okay. I’ve had them knock on my door and when I tell them I’m a Catholic one literally told me I was going to burn in hell.Ok sure lol

Have you tried pulling up your bootstraps higher?I AM a poor. Plus, donating is optional.
(I make under $50K per year.)
Have you tried pulling up your bootstraps higher?
The more people that believe a raptor helped Mary give birth via C-section, the better we can all believe that it's all imaginary.
They don't believe in Hell so that person was wrong.Okay. I’ve had them knock on my door and when I tell them I’m a Catholic one literally told me I was going to burn in hell.

And yet 36% of Americans say that attend weekly services, which is why drug addiction, gun violence, etc. is so much higher in places like the UK (7% weekly attendence), Norway-6%, Germany-10%, Australia- 17%, etc., while heavily church attending countries like Uganda-82%, Honduras-94%, Nigeria-89%, are such happy, peaceful, stable, community oriented places.Going to Church is like getting free money.

3. How religious commitment varies by country among people of all ages
The wide collection of cross-national Pew Research Center surveys analyzed in this report on age gaps in religious commitment can also be used to look atwww.pewresearch.org
Lol, look at this clown trying to redefine "religious bigotry" into church-goers' imagined persecution complex, instead of the reality of conservatives weaponizing organized religion and Christianity for the purpose of stripping away individual freedoms, personal liberties, and civil rights from broad swaths of the women, lgbtq, young, and minorities that make up the majority of our country.Religious bigots care, that's who.
that’s hard to believe since Jehovahs witnesses don’t believe in hellfire. Nor does the Bible teach it.Okay. I’ve had them knock on my door and when I tell them I’m a Catholic one literally told me I was going to burn in hell.
They were probably a convert. 😵💫that’s hard to believe since Jehovahs witnesses don’t believe in hellfire. Nor does the Bible teach it.

Then tell me why Jesus talked about the resurrection? Or why Paul taught there would be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous?.or why Psalms says the righteous will inherit the earth ,FYI, Jesus talked about Hell many times.

What did Jesus say about hell? - Explore the Bible
Vance Havner told the story about a church member who didn’t like the sermons he preached about hell. “Preach about the meek and lowly Jesus,” this member told him. Havner’s reply: “That’s where I got my information about hell.” It’s true—much of what we know about hell comes from the mouth of...explorethebible.lifeway.com

It's not free. It's a sales pitch. Why wouldn't poor people go to Church?!

Rich rule? Seems crazy to me. But most church people are sheep incapable of dealing with the truth. What ya call a person talking to his invisible friend? Crazy. What do ya call a group of people talking to a invisible freind? A church.
I did forget you don’t believe in Creator.
To each his own .

Christian churches try to shame parishioners into donating by passing the donation bucket from person to person during mass or service.

That’s unlike every Catholic mass I’ve attended my entire life. When I was younger it was ushers with baskets attached to long as poles that they put in front of you as they went from front to back. Later the ushers passed a basket to the first person in each row and it was passed “person to person” from front of the church to back.I go to 2 churches that have the collection plate at the front near the altar.
