I think in trying to milk the injury itself he missed an opportunity to focus on the idea that someone tried to kill him. That’s a serious matter, and he inadvertently got everyone off track talking about his injury and the stupid bandage than the assassination attempt.

I just don't think people care that much. If it bleeds it leads is very real, but violence is also a farely saturated and fleeting story to keep in the cycle for too long. If dead elementary students at the end of the day doesn't move the political needle, another President shot at won't either.

As a child I saw Bulldog Bob Brown wrestle at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Cedar Rapids and saw Harley Race there once as well. Awesome memories.

As long as cartilage is not damage…ca®telegenic damage would require some type of plastic surgery and an extended recovery time(e3-r4 weeks)…..at least that is my experience from a couple of cancerous excisions I have personally experienced….and those “bandages” would be substantial…not merely a gauze pad cover. Plus, if cartilage was affected, the pain he experienced would be greatly magnified….I remener I sucked down a whole bunch of oxycodone the first 36 hours of my first “reconstruction”…..hurt like a motherphuquer…..
