I agree. I’m fine with whatever, but the reality is I’ve never been a registered democrat in my 73 years on the planet.

But as I have stated, I study history, and I believe in Jeffersonian democracy, which is a belief in separation of church and state, for one thing.

I don't call people that voted for Trump Republicans because even though many did, there are many that find his policies far from conservative. Do you disagree?

I have never changed my ideology or convictions. I am and always been liberal and have never understood why anyone would not be. To me this is not a simple bias. People should care for, respect others and honor the concept of individual rights.

I am not influenced or dissuaded by petty arguments, ridiculous claims or senseless statements by unprofessional, manipulative, irrespirable journalism. I form my opinions and judgements based on life's experiences and observations and not what I'm told.

Maintaining values may be unusual for a Baby Boomer, but that separates conviction from position.
