Why won't the MAGA folks just admit that Russia started the war?

What is it that stops them from admitting what everyone else in the world knows is true? What is the basis for their denial?

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

Peace at what cost? Should sovereign nations just surrender when a dictator decides he wants their country.

Should Americans give up their guns in the name of world peace? What is your definition of world peace?

Putin does not want World Peace.

He wants a World Piece.

Find me a post of someone who was head over heels he was running again.
I have zero desire to figure out the search function and sift through posts. Ever heard of Huey or Chis? Huey finally abandoned Biden on the evening of the debate. Chis held on a little longer, if my memory serves me correctly.

The whole point of this is how we, as a nation, are so tribal that we will believe what our politicians and media tell us. The subject of this thread is why do MAGA believe something that is not true. It’s because they believe everything Trump and their media tell them. To understand this concept, I could have use several examples. The Dem politicians and media led many down the path that Biden was just fine. So many here repeated and parroted the media. I could have used the example of Hunter’s laptop. There might be some here that argue it wasn’t really his laptop. All because they’ve believe everything their favorite politician or media tells them.

Zelensky was trying to negotiate a US security commitment in front of the media,.. after the administration had already indicated that any yet to be negotiated security arrangement would have to fall primarily on European shoulders...
You’re lying.

I think we will learn even more about Biden’s cognitive condition as time goes on. There are people now willing to speak up. I do believe Joe was showing signs of something more than old age.

I don’t think it can be argued that the public wasn’t lied to by politicians and the media that Joe was fine.
I don’t agree. I stand by what I said until I hear Democrats in his administration saying they were covering for him. You’re arguing the same way MAGA argues about election fraud. Nobody but righties say what you’re saying. Foreign leaders aren’t saying it. Members of his administration aren’t saying it. Until then I don’t believe he was anything other than a slowing old man.

There’s a big difference between supporting a candidate and being head over heels over the the guy. I don’t recall ever seeing either of them being ecstatic about Biden.

I'm not trying to lionize Churchill here. He was a war monger who happened to find an actual war that needed fighting. There is a reason he lost the election immediately after he won the war.

He made his name in history however by recognizing the one thing that Chamberlain failed to recognize. And that is that if a leader starts trying to take parts of other countries who have done nothing to his country, he isn't a person who can be negotiated with.

Churchill was 💯 accurate in pointing out where the Soviet Union was heading. The world had the ability to prevent Soviet expansion but we're tired of fighting and stood back and watched.

Surrendering a third of his country to an aggressor would be helping his country? I would hope any leader of a nation would say "no thanks."
And that is what happened. Wish him and his country luck. Sounds like you would've done the same.

What do you think is the "US deal"?
US gets reimbursed for the money and military equipment they've given Ukraine, past and future. The US takes a risk by being in country. In a past post I said some of the mineral mines are in otkr close to stolen land...I don't like it because I think Europe should do more and working with Russia makes me nervous from a US perspective.

OK - that makes sense. You have no idea what was proposed so this is what you came up with.

I know the Dems met with Zelenskyy prior to the meeting.

Not speaking for others but pretty sure some came to the same conclusion about the deal.
