His name is Maurice Ways. You're not the only one that thought he looked good. I remember thinking same thing when we recruited Wiegers. The WR committed/signed/plays for Michigan

I assume he's progressed since I saw him in the spring scrimmage. He looked pretty bad that day. But everyone says he's made strides. From what I saw that day, he was purely a pocket passer.

Wiegers is a different QB than Beathard but I think he can be pretty good.

From what I have been able to gather from various media sources Weigers will be getting most of the reps in practice this week. So should he have to step in and play at least he will have had practice against the NU defense as opposed to when JVB had to play after Stanzi got hurt.
