Last night, Weesy did look like an NBA player. I want him back next year.

Let’s say he continues to play this way the rest of the season. Good chance then Hawks have a good run in the tourney, better than average chance a final four appearance. However if that happens 3 players off this team are gone. Luka, Jbo and Weezy. Not sure what Bohannon does but the other 2 are going to go get paid good money to play basketball

He’s good at most things but has the ability to be elite from 3. You can tell the work he did in the off season is paying off. Stronger, more stamina. I hope he comes back next year, that would keep the Hawks in hunt as a highly rated team to win next year as well but if Hawkeyes make a final 4 this year and he is a big part of it, I could see him leaving to play pro ball.

I think he will head to Europe now. Seems like this is the right time if he wants to keep playing.

He needs to be on an active roster for just one more NBA game to hit the minimum requirements for their pension so hopefully he can do that before heading overseas, if that is what he eventually does.
