Will anyone committ after the Pitt game?

If they were leaning towards Iowa at all, this fantastic football game with Pitt certainly didn't hurt our chances. I think it's a very small piece of the the puzzle, but it had to be electric in Kinnick tonight, regardless of your fan affiliation. Hell of a game to be at.

Sure as the heck can't hurt. Wow what a game and what an atmosphere. We would turn the tv once in a while to check the isu score and it was like wow, Kinnick was so much different than where Toledo plays, Kinnick is an electric atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and I think all the stuff they did to promote the family feeling of the Hawks will help. Between Greenwood, honoring Gallery, trotting all the playoff teams out at half, having Lute and gang back in town, etc. etc. they did a really nice job of setting the stage.

Heard an interview with Dolph and Barta on the way to the game mentioning there were roughly 500 (yes, 500!) recruits across all sports in campus yesterday. I guess the athletic department gets all the coaches together for a big weekend each year and everyone coordinated for yesterday. I assume that's why they put everything into it they did and it couldn't have played out any better imo.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!! I knew we needed to have an electric crowd and help from the football team to show the best in Iowa sports fans.

That environment had to put a very good impression on Cook. What an electric atmosphere and we really put our best foot forward. And an exciting game to boot.

Man its great to be a Hawkeye.

[ I also think it's so short sided of this fan base to think that a football game would make a basketball recruit want to come to IC.

A definite WOB.
