I wish he wasn't but he probably will.
Gavin Newsome showed what a shiny candidate is last night. I imagine pressure will be applied soon and eventually Biden will no longer be the guy.
Even knowing he was spinning like a top, he was engaging, fun to listen to, and I imagine most people who aren't concerned with facts would happily vote for him, and at least he would be a good listen.

Because he's old, physically not fit, mentally not fit, and a lot of big Democrat donors don't support him?
Would you be overly surprised if you woke up tomorrow to the news that he had a stroke or a heart attack or some other health emergency and was on his death bed surrounded by family?
Neither one should be in office in January of 25 but for different reasons.

Imagine if Biden is down in the polls and the DNC decide to replace Biden with Newsom. How would democrats respond? Would they automatically support Newsom?

I'd like to see Gavin replace Kamala for a Biden/Newsome ticket. I'd have much more confidence in Newsome if something happened with Joe's health after the election.
