Will Elon be the next speaker of the House?

🔥 🔥 🔥

“🔥 What if Elon Musk was Speaker of the House?! 🔥

Rand Paul just reminded us of the wildest, most chaotic truth bomb ever: the Speaker of the House doesn’t even have to be a member of Congress. 🧐 Yes, you read that right. The job is open to anyone!

Now, let’s get crazy for a second... Elon Musk. As Speaker. Of. The. House. 🚀🇺🇸

Imagine it:
💼 Swamp creatures sweating bullets as Musk walks into the Capitol wearing a SpaceX hoodie.
✂️ Red tape? Gone. Bureaucracy? Annihilated.
📊 A government budget written on a napkin in Tesla’s AI lab.
🎥 Livestreamed Congressional debates—complete with real-time X polls.

And the chaos it would unleash! 😂 The left, the establishment right, lobbyists, and every overpaid consultant in D.C. would collectively LOSE THEIR MINDS. 🤯 Picture it: CNN anchors hyperventilating, Pelosi fainting, and Schumer pacing in circles like a glitchy NPC.

But think about the results:
⚡ Debt ceiling? Solved in 3 posts and a meme.
🤖 Policy innovation? Grok drafts the bills while Elon tweaks them.
🛡️ Lobbyists? Blocked like spam calls on a Tesla phone.

The Constitution says it’s possible, and the timing couldn’t be better. America’s political system needs a disruptor—someone who makes bureaucrats cry and gets things DONE. 💥

Would it be chaos? Absolutely.
Would it be amazing? You bet.

So here’s the question: Should we launch Elon Musk into the Speaker seat and watch D.C. implode? 💭 Let’s hear your thoughts!”

Usual suspects have no interest in governing. So long as it trolls the left, that’s all they care about.

Merica.

If by no interest in governing you really mean I have no interest in business as usual in DC, then you are correct.

Our current fiscal path is not sustainable.

If you cannot understand or accept this simple fact then there is no point in having a discussion about it. You are hopelessly lost or willfully ignorant and I can’t help you with those things.

It’s funny you actually think Donald Trump wants to do the dirty work and make the hard choices.

I don’t think he has any interest in doing hard work. I do think he has an interest in his legacy and will surround himself with compotent people who will carry out his desires. Elon Musk is a perfect example. Musk is supremely capable problem solver and will come up with solutions.

Also Trump’s 2024 was much more polished than the 2016 campaign for example. Aside from the ill prepared debate where he was ambushed by the partisan interviewers who lied during their “fact checks.” His video communications were coherent, measured, and direct. Kudos to his campaign manager.

Two things can be true at the same time: we need to solve our fiscal issues and Elon Musk as Speaker is not the way to do it.

Nothing would disrupt the swamp and the influence of monied interests that cause our legislature to be utterly dysfunctional than the leadership of a multibillionaire who literal bought his way to a position of influence. It makes sense if you don't think about it.
It's not about monied interests. It's about elitist vibes. Material realities are secondary. The richest man in the world is not an elitist because he posts adorkable memez

I would feel so owned if this happened.

Trump wants to do away with the debt ceiling altogether. How do you square that with believing he’s serious about substantial budget cuts?

Imagine being dumb enough to believe any of this.

Competent people? How many people did he fire or quit in less than a year?

He's also made a big deal about how he wants to fire Wray when he's the one that hired Wray.

Trump can't find competent people for anything even by his own sad definition of competence.

Is Elon eligible?
Speaker is 3rd in line for presidency.
Elon was not born in America and neither were his parents.

Yes.

Schaub, Ellis, and Dubinsky also argue that permitting a non-member to serve as Speaker would effectively exempt Speakers from the eligibility requirements of the House Qualifications Clause of Article I, Section II and from being bound by an oath of office under the Oath or Affirmation Clause of Article VI as opposed to House members.[21][23] The House Qualifications Clause requires that "No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty-five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States".[5] The Oath or Affirmation Clause provides that "The ... Representatives before mentioned... and all executive and judicial Officers ... of the United States... shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution".[28] Pursuant to Article VI, the 1st United States Congress passed the Oath Administration Act (that remains in effect) which provides that "...the oath or affirmation [required by the sixth article of the Constitution of the United States]… shall be administered ... to the Speaker".[29]

To be fair, the left cries about pretty much everything and it's usually quite funny to watch. Like a child having a meltdown bc mommy said they couldn't have any candy at the store.
Where does your obsession with others sexual acts come from?

Do you often fantasize about other men masturbating?
Isn't it fascinating how they pivot to homo erotic fantasy almost immediately? Don't you think it's fascinating, @fivecardstud14?
