Excellent post, but I think it's more that to them the quality of Harris as a candidate is almost irrelevant. She's the competent "not a fascist/criminal/incompetent". Again, she's a perfectly fine replacement level candidate.

Whether Harris is a "crap candidate" or whatever is an irrelevancy when it comes to this election. Trump is the crappiest candidate in the history of the country by a wide margin. It's not close when it comes to Harris or James Buchanan or anyone else you want to pick out of American history.

When one candidate is worse and also a criminal and a threat to democracy and is in bed with project 2025 and putin and loves all dictators and talks about deciding disaster relief aid based on how states vote, it becomes a really easy decision.
