Will the B1G flop in the 2022 NCAA tourney?

It's got the best middle and bottom section of any conference. The top isn't up to snuff though, and I think a large part of that is largely mediocre guard play.

That being said, Purdue is the B1G's only legit hope to get to the FF and even that doesn't look likely. I'll be pulling for them though.

Dumb question, why doesn't it look likely?

With NIL and the amount of resources Big Ten teams have, I would expect them to start recruiting high school and transfer players better and eventually put together some championship caliber teams. You look at recruiting rankings over the past decade and you won't find many Big Ten teams in the top 10 and none consistently.
