Oh, please. Of course I'm glad Iowa won that game. And if Iowa played ISU next week, maybe Iowa wins again. But if they had played yesterday? There aren't very many teams Iowa can beat playing and coaching that way. It was bad. Can you at least acknowledge how horrible Iowa was yesterday?

Good grief – statements like this make us sound like the delusional Iowa State fans. In the years that they have managed to beat us head to head, they have pointed to “one game” whenever we debate them on the “better” team to justify bragging rights - even though the remainder of their season after we played was a joke. Now we are doing the same thing?

If you want to stick with this logic, then you will pretty much be admitting that Iowa State has produced teams nearly 50% of the time throughout KF’s tenure that has been better than Iowa simply because of one game. Time to take off the homer glasses and admit they currently have a more innovative coaching staff that has their program moving in the right direction. Here’s to hoping for much success for MC and staff so he is hired by another program soon!
