I don't pay too much attention to the polls but the way Kamala is running her campaign makes me feel uneasy. Don't run as a Moderate (Republican-Light), it gives off lesser of two evils vibe and imo that could hurt voter turnout. A lot of the policies Biden signed in the last 4 years are popular, stand on them and actually run as a Democrat.

Oh FFS. Kamala Harris is a historically perfectly fine replacement level Presidential candidate. And the idea that she's an "ultra liberal" is absurd. Complete bullshit, if only it were true. She's getting called that because she's a woman of color, not because of any substance to the accusation. Under the same criteria, Joe Biden is a bigger "ultra liberal".
But It's a category error anyway to try to complain about Harris and/or blame her as the candidate if Trump wins. If Trump wins it's system failure. The American system/experiment failed. If we were dependent on a highly charismatic, exceptional candidate to defeat fascism and a criminal/conman like Trump than we were already cooked as a country/society anyway.
The system failed. The Republican party first allowed itself to be taken over by this conman/grifter/Dictator. And then you had a timid opposition party in the Democrats always, always on the defensive. Finally, a mainstream media that in this era relentlessly normalized Donald Trump and a Republican party that evolved into a fascist cult of personality party.

This. Americans failed America and most aren't bright enough to realize it. Thousands of men and women died trying to stop what the 2024 Republican Party is attempting to turn us into. The Electoral College has to go. The SCOTUS needs to be revamped because too many of them are bought and making decisions based on what their owners want them to do. Our country is sick and corrupt.

Think of MAGAts like militant in-your-face lesbians. They’re loud and proud, but they are a minority. Straight women don’t flaunt their sexuality and they outnumber lesbians by a large margin, just as sane adults outnumber bigoted/misogynistic idiots by a large margin. As long as sane adults turn out to vote Trump’s only chance is to gum up vote certification in battleground states and attempt to steal a “victory” via the Electoral College.
