After playing with the big ten tournament machine it appears win the last three or the double bye is virtually impossible.

win three baby... one at a time of course.

Winning the btt really isn't important at this point.

We know Iowa is the second best team in the conference when CJ is healthy, maybe the best as we beat Maryland allot worse than they beat us.

Whats important is what happens the next week and being as prepared for that as possible.

Getting to the second week of the real tournament is everything.

I almost would rather be eliminated on Friday/Saturday, and give the guys an extra couple of days to rest before the NCAAs, especially if they play on the Thursday. Double-bye would be nice obviously, and it'd be nice to get to Saturday for the first time in a loooong time, but at this point in the season, anything the Hawks do on Saturday/Sunday would be gravy at this point.

Is a 2-1 finish all but certain to land us on Thursday, or does that make us reliant on other results more for the double-bye scenarios?

You guys are weird... I'd like to watch this team (Garza) play as many games as I can this year. Obviously not to the extent of tanking the season to get a worse seed in the BTT.

Given other teams schedules, we pretty much have to win out to get the double bye.

@ 2-1 (beat IL/PSU) our best scenario is tied for 2nd (3 seed), but the chances of that is incredibly small
