Wisconsin officials investigating allegations of racial comment made in presence of Kobe King

Helland spent 25 years with the Chicago Bulls ( which included 5 Championships seasons). I can't imagine a run that long without someone on one of those teams calling him out if he was making racist remarks. He took a significant paycut to accept the call to work with Badger Basketball team.
He has now paid a significant price for a careless remark.

Story from ESPN:

King had expressed concerns about S&C Coach Erik Helland's treatment of minority players within the program to those close to him, according to a source. Helland said in a statement that he'd never done anything to "intentionally insult or hurt" a player.

He said, he said. I'm going with the player on this one given all of the shenanigans and illegal activities of university AD authorities the past decade--the MSU sexual-abuse doctor and Jerry Sandusky come to mind, plus how many who have been fired for more "minor" offenses.

Some of these posts are pathetic.
If you’re a D1 player and your coach is making insensitive, clearly racist remarks in front of you and your teammates... you have every right to transfer & that person should be fired 10/10 times. Give me a break. Good for Koby, hope he finds a better fit & balls out.
