Wisconsin schedule is laughable

So ... Notre Dame, Penn State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Texas and A&M are all SOL with no chance to win the National Championship? I think each school had won multiple national championships in the past.

Needs some tweaking IMHO...

Well it’s all mostly a joke. But yeah — I’m fine with that. You’ve listed no team I enjoying watching win national titles.

Those schools would dominate the FCS.

So are you saying the West is being won by a schedule quirk? In 2015 we beat every team in the West regardless of our cross-overs which we won also. In 2016 Wisconsin went undefeated in the West also. If Wisconsin does the same this year how is that a quirk! That would be 3 straight years the West champ beat everyone in the West and made the title game. I'm too lazy to check the previous seasons before 2015 but that may be the case other seasons too.

I'm not sure how you can make this argument of a quirk this year when we have not yet swept the West which would include beating Wisconsin? Could it happen that we run the table which would include beating Wisconsin and that being Wisconsin's only loss sure but that's the only scenario that could match your 'quirk' complaint. Northwestern is likely the second place team in the West if not us and Wisconsin beat them along with Purdue already.

Bottom line is we had opportunities to win both of our first two cross-overs regardless of difficulty and did not get it done. That includes making one stop against PSU. We are just not good enough so complaining about the schedule is irrelevant and it's definitely not relevant if we do not beat Wisconsin and the rest of the West teams anyway but Wisconsin does.

not only are you too lazy to check the previous seasons.....you are apparently also too lazy to read the previous posts in this thread before jumping me for my comment. Because, in fact, I specifically said the whole point of the argument would be if Iowa beat EVERY team in the west and didn't go to Indy because of losses to 2 or 3 highly ranked teams from the east that Wisconsin does not play.
