...that possible 3 way tiebreaker in the East where the West winner wouldn't know until Tuesday night who they were playing. Even if three of them all tied at 6-2 now their division records would not all be the same, so the tiebreakers would sort out before needing the playoff committee.
That said, the B1G and/or the CFP need to figure out a better tiebreaker system before next year. I bet other conferences have similar rules. This happened in the B12 once but it wasn't as big of deal because the BCS rankings came out on Sunday, I think.
